Project Life January 28 - February 4

Logan almost always gives a cheesy smile when I want to take a picture, today was no exception.

Tonight's activity at church was making skirts.  Hannah did a great job.  I now appreciate the time and effort that my mother and grandmother put in to teach me how to sew.

Logan started preschool at All God's Children today.  He said he had fun and met new friends.  I'm not sure how it will go, we will wait and see.

Sunday was futsal soccer again.  Annika and I went to watch Hannah and Jaeden.  Jed and the boys came for the brother vs. sister rematch.  Hannah's team won again, the good thing for Jaeden is that they will be on new teams for February.  Jed dressed the boys in soccer jerseys from Greece in honor of the occasion.

Jed and I spent "quality" time together Thursday night after the kids went to bed doing our taxes.  I usually do it by myself every year, but this year he wanted to be a part of it.  Every year he says we should have someone else do them for us, but I say why, when you have me and H&R Block online to do them.  I filed them Friday so that's why it's Friday's picture of the day.

Jaeden with his Pinewood Derby car after a race.  He didn't do as well as he hoped, but had lots of fun and made some new friends.

Annika is doing gymnastics this year and is loving it.  It is perfect for her girly attitude and athletic ability.  At the end of each class they get a stamp on their foot, so this is her's for today.

Since I took a picture of Jaeden playing piano I had to also get one of Annika.

Jaeden and Jed hard at work painting the Pinewood Derby car in Packer Green and Gold.

Hannah loves ice cream more than cake so this year she choose ice cream from Culver's over a cake and then for her birthday party she decided on brownies and ice cream instead of cake.  This meant that there was no picture of her with her cake like all the other kids have on their birthday so today I was given some cupcakes from someone at church for our family, so I took her picture holding her cupcake as her "birthday cake picture."

Jed got Trivial Pursuit for the PS3 for Christmas, so Saturday night we decided to play a round Girls versus Boys.  I didn't think that us girls had a chance, I have never beat Jed in a game of Trivial Pursuit, but the girls kicked bootie!  So Sunday morning the boys wanted a rematch and we were behing most of the game, but at the very end we got lucky and beat them again.  So, that is Girls-2 and Boys-0.

Hannah and her friends at her Birthday Party!  These girls are soooo much fun and such great friends.
